Why Dilute Dr. Planet? Diluting your soap allows you to make it go further, and it gives you the freedom to create custom body and cleaning recipes that suit your needs. If you’d like to dilute, keep in mind that:

• 1 tablespoon = 15 ml, which also matches the cap size of our refill bottles.

• We recommend diluting with cool boiled, filtered, or distilled water. Tap water can introduce bacteria, which may affect the freshness of Dr. Planet due to the absence of preservatives. While still safe, diluted soap with tap water may develop a stale odor over time.

• Dr. Planet Castile Soap has a shelf life of 12 to 18 months.
